Chapter 386: Perfect Chance to Torment Ian Quinnell
Chapter 386: Perfect Chance to Torment Ian Quinnell
Phillip naturally agreed to Thea’s request.
When she arrived at Landon Ford’s office, Thea stepped out of the elevator and saw Landon Ford in the office from a short distance away.
Jason Bishop was standing in front of Landon Ford.
Jason Bishop seemed to be saying something to him, but Landon Ford’s face was its usual playful and nonchalant, not focusing his gaze on Jason Bishop.
When Thea appeared, his eyebrows lifted lightly, seemingly not very surprised at Thea’s arrival.
Phillip walked in, smiling as he reported, "Young Master Ford, this is the new secretary for an interview."
Landon Ford: "..."
He earnestly glanced at Thea, his eyes flashed with a hint of interest, as if he had discovered something amusing, pointing lazily at the sofa: "Sit there and wait."
Thea obediently sat on the sofa.
Jason Bishop turned his head and seemed slightly surprised to see Thea.
He soon gave Thea a charming, sunny smile.
He turned back to Landon Ford and said, "Well, brother, you should get back to work. I won’t disturb you! Can I invite you for dinner next time?"
Landon Ford raised the corners of his mouth, his voice cold yet pitiless: "No."
"Okay then..."
Jason Bishop felt very discouraged, lowering his gaze, his entire face filled with gloom.
The handsome young man showing such a look could make anyone feel uneasy, wondering if they had done something wrong.
But the people in the room were all seasoned veterans, without showing any hesitation.
Phillip timely stepped forward to assist: "I’ll walk you out, Young Master Bishop."
Just one ’Young Master Bishop’ clearly defined his identity.
He wasn’t a Ford.
Jason Bishop could only leave, waving at Thea as he went: "Goodbye, sis! If fate allows us to meet again, I’ll buy you some bubble tea."
Thea: "Sure thing."
Once Jason Bishop was sent out by Phillip, Landon Ford playfully asked: "Any thoughts?"
Thea bluntly: "The little innocent act was well-played."
If it weren’t for the events of last night, Thea might still hesitate over the image Jason Bishop presented.
She considered for a moment, then concluded: "A very clever boy, good at using his strengths, with deep scheming."
Perhaps to others, this was just a boy coming to see his brother.
But since Jason Bishop came to see Landon Ford, there’s no way he didn’t know his identity, either truly pure and innocent, just wanting to meet his brother.
Or deliberately coming to curry favor.
After what happened last night, he could only belong to the second kind.
Judging by his appearance alone, he’s very deceptive.
A person who can easily betray a father he’s barely met isn’t trustworthy.
"He also seems quite self-destructive."
Landon Ford spun his chair, chuckling hoarsely: "It’s not like no one has tried this before. Guess why they never came back?"
Thea said: "Does that even need guessing? Surely, they saw your wise and mighty image, Landon, and felt ashamed of their own illegitimate status, so they retreated in disgrace!"
"..."
Thea was babbling on, while Landon Ford scoffed: "He knows how to use the advantage of his age, but I do have an idea."
Thea was curious: "What are you going to do?"
Landon Ford: "Send him to spar with Ian Quinnell."
Thea: "..."
Awesome.
Wasn’t Warren Ford trying to train Ian Quinnell to deal with him?
Jason Bishop is sitting right here, a perfect tool to torment Ian Quinnell.
